Finally. When was the last time I finished a book? Long, long time. But I finally got through this one. That makes it sound like it wasn't very good. Oh, it was plenty good. It was just very realistic, and at times it was very depressing. Streets of Laredo (1995) is the sequel to Larry McMurtry's Lonesome Dove (1985). I haven't read the first book, but of course I've seen the movie. If I'm going to read fiction, this is the kind of book I like to read. Anyhow. I liked it. Wish I had more time to read.
