The Abolition of Man - C.S. LewisIt shouldn't take a person so long to read such a small book. And I really can't give you a good review. As always, you can click on the picture to find out more about it. I know it was written in 1944, but it's just as true today. Taking God (or "good") out of education results in the end of man. If there is no good or bad, we're just another animal reacting to things in the most comfortable way. That reaction could either be indifference or violence (which is never the answer). I think he was trying to point out the line of "logic" that formed Hitler's way of thinking, since this was published during WWII. The Germans picked violence. It seems to me that the Americans are picking indifference.
