Today is supposedly the day - maybe. The floors are supposed to go in. All the prep work has been done which included making sure everything is mostly clean and level, and it included the laying down and securing of plywood over the old floor surface. That will help the floor to not creak and groan so much, plus they need a very even and clean surface for the linoleum. They also have had to keep the heat on in the house to make sure the wood and glue will agree with each other. It looks pretty good the way it is even before the linoleum, says me. There's snow on the ground today, but that shouldn't slow the workers down. I did find out, though, that the painters could be a week later than I thought they would be since they're working another job, so that wasn't the best news.
