Really, this time for sure, no kidding - today will be the day the floor goes in. But lest you think nothing got accomplished yesterday, be encouraged to note that the stove man came to check out where we can put that. Well, we had a place in mind, but he doesn't like it because the thermostat would be directly above the fire, and it just wouldn't work that well. So the stove may have to go where the TV was supposed to go. I still don't really want a TV, so that doesn't bother me, but it does mean that the gas man will have to come back to put in a new valve in the other place. I'm not sure that it's worth all the fuss. And the time. I suppose it was foolish of me to start telling folks that I'd be moving by Spring Break.

I was particularly impressed with the 200th episode of NCIS this week. 200 episodes - wow - and I've probably seen only about 40 of them. I came in a little late as a fan and started out as a severe skeptic. We used to watch Law & Order in my younger days, and it just seems that none of the newer "who-dun-it" shows are quite at that level. But NCIS manages to keep it serious without letting it get cheesy, and it also throws in some humor and real character development.
