I'm supposed to be finishing my CE hours to keep my massage license, but I lost interest for now. I only have 2 hours to go before the end of the month, so I should be okay. It sure does stink to pay the state every 2 years for something that makes no money for me, but all I know is that I'm not goin' back to Austin to retake that test. No sir-ee, bob. So I thought I'd put up a parade picture instead. I have no pictures of myself, but this is Melanie and Dixie before the Saint Jo parade. We didn't wear our uniforms for this one, though. Normally the club wears a white shirt with a green necktie and a white cowboy hat. This parade was in the dark, so Rocky didn't think it would matter much. Both the Bowie and Saint Jo parades were at night, so we had to put lights on the horses. There are lights in the greenery around the horse's front and there are lights going down his tail. Some folks lined their bridles and reins with lights, but we didn't go to that much trouble. Also, there are bells on the horse's feet. So that is what one wears in a parade. I expect it's more about what the horse is wearing. Like I said, that's all the people really care about. And I always say - GIVE THE PEOPLE WHAT THEY WANT!

That's a great motto. I want cake.

I was going to ask if you put lights on the horses! That's great!!! Does your tie have lights on it to, circa Dr Graff? Cause that'd be stellar. But I guess not really if you only wear it in the day time ...

How do the horses respond to the decor? And the bells! OH what FUN!!!
